Bakery Stars extends sponsorship of UNICEF project “Plastic Bricks.”

In Ivory Coast, large amounts of plastic are produced and dumped daily. The waste ends up in landfills and contaminates groundwater, increasing the risk of diseases.

Only a small percentage, just five percent, is recycled. Women who collect plastic often receive low wages for their work. Additionally, there are significant challenges in the field of education.

By recycling plastic into building blocks for schools, we achieve multiple goals at once: we improve the environment, create jobs and income, and provide more classrooms for the future.
